Remnants of the Almanach

Heists, magical artefacts, powerful mechanisms! Remnants of the Almanach is a role-playing game in which you tell an adventure story. As members of a thieves' guild, you live in a walking guildhouse, go on travels together and strengthen your bonds. 

How do we find what is lost, does void create its own new space and can we find familiarity in strangeness?

In this game you play as a motley crew of thieves looking to find and steal the remnants of an ancient magical tome before an evil power does. 

Said book, the Almanach, was destroyed aeons ago. But rumour has it that pieces of it still exist, hidden in secret libraries and dark castles. You will infiltrate an array of places of the world to find clues to the whereabouts of these fragments to then steal them.

This game is also about building a home with a group of people brought together by fate. Your Guildhouse is an ever-evolving moving construct that will grow through the addition of magical treasures you find on your journeys.

But your crew aren’t the only ones looking for them: An operation in the shadows has picked up your trail and is following you. They will find out about your plans sooner or later. Then you will have to defend your home.

• Visit the picturesque seaside town of Garnet Gulf. Could there be a dark secret behind these half-timbered walls?
• Dare to enter the Shifting Hedgemaze, where a druidic order plays a strange game of tag. But what exactly are the rules?
  
• Experience a night at the theatre in the bustling metropolis of Huberdeen. What peculiar stagecraft will you find once you peek behind the curtains?
• Infiltrate the Citadel Outpost and get head-to-head with the enemy. What secrets lie in the ruins of this dormant stronghold?
• Find a way into the vaults of one of the oldest spy networks of this world. Has the Silent Lion Society really become the boring supper club everyone thinks it is?
• Find a way to step through the Black Door. What secrets has one of your closest allies kept from you all this time?

This is a Carved from Brindlewood TTRPG for 3 to 5 player and one Guide. It is written for campaign length play but can also be played as a one or two shot. The files contain everything you need to play Remnants of the Almanach. The base game is playtested and finished, yet a second edition is in development. If you buy the game you will receive access to all future updates. Those updates will include more content, graphic and layout improvements and adaption of the new rulesets used in newer editions of Carved from Brindlewood games.
